 I’m So Lonely and I’m A Kid

It’s okay to feel lonely sometimes, even if it feels really tough. You might feel like you’re the only one going through this, but there are many kids just like you who also feel lonely and struggle with making friends. You never know how much a kind word matters.

So, Why Do You Have No Friends as a Kid?

There could be many reasons for this. Maybe you just moved to a new town or school, and it takes time to make friends. Maybe you’re shy or have trouble talking to new people. Or maybe you’ve had a disagreement with your old friends and have yet to make new ones. Whatever the reason may be, it’s important to remember that it’s not your fault, and you’re not alone.

Please call or text 988 if you need help right now. You matter and God has a wonderful plan for your life.

Is it Okay to be Lonely and Not Have Friends?

If you’re struggling to make friends, there are many ways to help yourself. Talk to your parents, grandparents, teachers, pastor, Doctor or a mental health counselor, and let them know how you feel. They can help you figure out ways to meet new people and make friends.

Why Do I Have No Friends as a Kid?

There are also things you can do to make friends fast. Be yourself, smile, and be open to meeting new people. Join clubs or after-school activities that you’re interested in. Be kind and helpful to others, and you’ll attract people who want to be friends with you.

It’s Also Important to Remember that Loneliness Won’t Last Forever

If you’re feeling down, remember that there are people who care about you and want to help you. You can always call the national suicide prevention hotline at 988 if you need help right now.

Jesus Wants to be Your Best Friend

Finally, remember that Jesus is your best friend. He loves you just the way you are, and you can trust him to always be there for you. You can talk to him about anything, and he will listen. If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Savior yet, you can do it today by saying a simple prayer and asking him to come into your heart. You can watch the GREAT NEWS FOR YOU Video on this page to find out more about Jesus and how much He loves you!
